Depois da pintura do atelier, o passo seguinte foi começar a planear com grande entusiasmo como gostaria de mobilar o meu mundo encantado. Uma vez que já tinha grande parte da mobília em casa, eu sabia que o investimento seria pequeno e que iria precisar somente de comprar mais duas ou três estantes e uma secretária. A mobília em branco seria o toque perfeito para contrastar com a parede lilás.
Fui experimentando e mudando as estantes de sítio no atelier até encontrar a disposição dos móveis que mais me satisfazia. Como pretendia aproveitar ao máximo o pequeno espaço, achei que o melhor seria circundar-me de mobília e colocar ao centro uma ou duas mesas de trabalho. Fazer uma combinação/solução para canto com as estantes permitiu-me ganhar mais espaço para arrumação.
Dado que, no quarto em que se encontra o atelier entra muito pouca luz de qualquer maneira, optei então por bloquear metade da porta que dá acesso à varanda com uma pequena estante, ficando assim com mais um espaço útil para as coisas que adoro.
Quando pintei a caixa de madeira do estore com esmalte branco foi já a pensar na persiana branca que iria colocar sobre a porta da varanda. Pensei logo que não ficaria bem ter a persiana numa cor e a caixa noutra. Depois de pendurar a persiana, fiquei mesmo muito contente com a decisão que tomei!
Por fim, decidi colocar a mesa que tinha em casa ao centro do atelier e verifiquei que ainda me sobrava comprimento para mais uma mesa. Medi o espaço que tinha ainda disponível para saber quais as medidas máximas que a nova secretária poderia ter e iniciei a sua busca. Tinha uma ideia específica da mesa que pretendia - uma secretária branca com prateleiras laterais - e acabei por encontrar uma que gostei bastante com alguns pormenores em roxo. Perfeita para o meu atelier!

Resultou assim em duas mesas no atelier: na horizontal, uma bancada de trabalho muito útil para embrulhar presentes e, na vertical, uma secretária essencial para realizar os meus trabalhos manuais.
Espaço para arrumar e organizar é que agora não me falta! ｡◕‿◕｡
After painting my craft room, the next step was to begin planning with great enthusiasm how I would like to furnish my enchanted world. Since I already had much of the furniture in the house, so I knew that the investment would be small and I would only need to buy two or three bookcases and a desk. The furniture in white would be the perfect touch to contrast with the lavender walls.
I was experimenting and moving the shelves around in the craft room, till I found the furniture layout that satisfied me more. As I wished to make the most of the small space, I thought it would be best to have the furniture around me and in the middle of the room one or two working desks. Making a corner combination/solution with the bookcases allowed me to gain more storage space.
Given that the room we are in the craft room comes in very low light anyway, I decided then to block half of the door, which gives access to the balcony, with a small bookcase and thus getting more useful space for the things I love.
When I painted the wooden window box with enamel paint, I had already in mind the white venetian blind that I was going to add on the balcony door. I immediately thought it would not be right to have a blind in one color and the wooden box in another. After hanging the blind, I was really happy with the choice I made!
Finally, I decided to set the table that I had at home in the center of the craft room and I realized that I still had room left for one more table. I measured the space that was still available to see the maximum measures that the new desk could have and I started the search for a new one. I had a specific idea of the table I wanted - a white desk with side shelves - and I found one that I liked very much with quite a few details in purple. Perfect for my craft room!
I ended up with two tables in my craft room: horizontally a working station very useful for wrapping gifts and vertically an essential desk to make my crafts.
I have now plenty of room for storing and organizing! ｡◕‿◕｡
